Pride FC fan anyone?

Other MMA like UFC or The Ultimate Fighter 3 that takes in Japan. I thought PrideFC got more exciting matches than UFC matches expect UFC 61.

Just think this PrideFC = "Elite MMA" with best fighters from the world = Brazil, USA, New Zealand, Croatia, and Japan.

UFC has more american breeds or "homegrown" fighters. I still watching both of them along other MMA events.



On July 2nd on PPV with PrideFC Critical Countdown event is for second round to bring four winner fighters into final four for this fall time. My picks:


Cro Cop > Yoshida ~ Cro Cop's Roundkick should take care of Yoshida's head

Silva > Fujita ~ Going be Slugfest! Silva will do his striking ways to break Fujita's hard head down.

Nogueira > Werdum ~ their best submission but Nog got better striking.

Hunt > Barnett ~ Hunt got steel chin and too heavy for Barnett's submission

I got hooked on PrideFC ever since they began doing PrideFC show on FSN (Fox Sports Network) channel every few Sundays.

"Crazy Horse" Bennett is hilarious. A true showman.

Wanderlai Silva is awesome. So is Fedor.

In fact, Fedor is the world's best MMA fighter at the moment. I don't think anybody comes close to Fedor in terms of MMA strength, if we were to make everything open-weight.

That what I loves PrideFC's fighting styles. UFC's rules ("Las Vegas's rules")won't allow few things what PrideFC allows....I still wondering what PrideFC get the rules from Las Vegas when they come in town this October.

I would bet PrideFC fighters will take near alll UFC champion belts expect Matt Hughes. Interesting, PrideFC prez say he will send best fighters to UFC to win and take UFC belts home....ah, UFC LHW chamion Chuck Liddel vs PrideFC LWH champion Wanderai Silva will be clash this fall time if injury-free.

LV rules match? I tho UFC doesnt have any type matches, just fight? Like WWE does have diffy matches such as Triple Threat or Ladder or ECW Rules or all bs...

MMA has two types : cage and four or five rings. King Of The Cage has small cage than UFC's cage. USA has more cages than rings and Japan prefers rings.

One of Brazil MMA has four rings with bottom nets to keep guys inside of the ring.

Grappling/wrestling : mat.

Streetfight : anywhere.

Las Vegas set the rules and every states fellows their rules. Few events has little different rules as less Las Vegas rules. No events has been adove the LV's rules expect uderground somewhere.

PrideFC would to remove their rules to fellow Las Vegas like drop rules : kick down fighter...kick (or punt) down fighter's head...knee down figher's head. That was pretty hurt when PrideFC fighters did that than UFCs elbowing to smash fighter's face. UFC used do almost anything like headbutting...elbowing down figther's back before Las Vegas Rules.

You could seen different places with different ring/cage (USA, Japan and Brazil). These rules allowed and not allowed.

Silva will fighting UFC LHW champion Chuck "Iceman" Liddell this october if both are injury-free. I would telling Silvba will beat Liddell on UFC and he will destroy Liddell on PrideFC and he will kill him on Brazil Vale Tudo!.

Hope Silva-Liddell will be happen this year....that is "dream" fighting by MMA fans along myself too.

Ohh, got it! But why Japan prefers ring over cages?
