Preschool Pony Euthanized After Dog Attack

LOOMIS, Calif. -- Sparkle the pony, a preschool mascot, had to be euthanized after the owner's son found her submerged in a pond, mangled after a vicious dog attack.

"Her legs were mangled, bite marks all over her, her face was eaten up and her ear was off. It was horrendous. It was awful," owner Amber Farman said.

Sparkle went into the backyard pond to escape last week's attack , Farman said
