Poor Litte Marty has Bronchitis !

The black dogs get killed the most as people are afraid of them! I could not believe people were afraid of Finlay as he was one big love bug! The dog will be your best friend ! Marty follow me around , he is lying right next to me now!
 
Has Marty's overall behavior improved? Has there been any more biting? I often think of you two and hope Marty is doing well, in health and in behavior.
 
Yes, exactly the same dog. That's what a few months of good nutrition and of letting his hair grow out long enough to be groomed like a poodle will do for a dog. The first picture was taken in November; the second one was the following spring, probably end of March or early April.

Also of course the lighting was different. The first one was in the evening inside, the second one in broad daylight, so it really brought out all the platinum color in his coat. He looks dark when he's shaved close, but when it grows out, he's silver.

Marty will bite if I hurt him by mistake! He does sleep a lot but love to be outside,he seem to get tried easy as he will lay down for awhile on the grass . He loves to play but I think his bronchitis keep him from playing as much as he would like to! I am hoping the pills will help him breathe better. I have to remind myself not keep the chairs too close the kitchen table , or Marty will climb on the table and steal food! Yesterday he got his pills pockets off the
table and I got to him before he was able to get the package opened!! He did mess up the pill pockets by chewing on the package!
Some people think Marty is Cockapoo, the vet thought Marty is a Cockapoo , I am going to call Marty a Cutiepoo as I no idea what he is!

Casey will do that too. Plus, he has been known to jump UP onto the kitchen counter!! He's got springs in his back legs, for sure. He can be an amazingly tall dog when he gets up on his back legs and stretches his little nose out as far as he can. I've been surprised at some of the things he has managed to pull off the counter.

He is training me to be a much better housekeeper and keep all food put away and counters cleared off! He trains me better than my mother did. :lol:

Marty will stand on his hind legs when he outside to try and to see over the bushes and he will stretches his little neck to made himself taller! We have rabbits here and Marty is trying to get one!! So far he been eating the rabbits poop! I feel like crap! I got cold from my daughter! Talk to you later!
 
Marty is Starting to Cough Again!

Marty's cough is coming back ! It looks like he can't cut back on his meds, I am so upset! The meds it making him gain weight like crazy. The poor little dog he could be on med for a long time. :(
 
Aw, poor baby! My heart breaks for Marty. And I'm sure it must be exhausting and sad for you, seeing the little guy struggle like that. At least there's meds to treat it, but sounds like it's no fun dealing with the side effects.

Marty is getting into the cabinet looking for food, I found him on the couch once with a Box of Grape Nuts cereal and he got the bag out of the box! I am glad I found him as he could gotten the plastic bag stuck on his little head. I read that some people woke up to find their dog dead as it got into a box of cereal and the could not get the plastic bag off it nose! :( The plastic bags are not glued into the boxes. I have remind myself to put something in front the cabinet door to keep Marty out. Yes it is exhausting as he need to go out a lot to pee, I am up at 1:00 AM with him as I do not want him to pee in the house.
 
Can they put dogs on Singulair or something that won't cause him to be hungry but still let him breathe?

I am going to call the vet Friday and will ask , I do not know about meds thanks for the tips.
He is really having a hard time tonight! I am really crushed , I have put so much into trying to help him.
I did not know Marty was this sick when I got him.
