Hi all,

May I introduce to you a new text to speech product that you may find useful.

Polyglotz is a mobile talking translator that support over 30 languages. It run on your smart phones (blackberry, google phone, iphone, and more phone to come). You can use Polyglotz as a language learning tool or a communication device in a foreign country. It is also a text to speech speech device so I wish that it can be of uses to the deaf and non-verbal community.

Your website says it only works with Android Google phone.

I would try it if it worked for Blackberry.
 
Hello, could you possibly care to give your own version of why we would want to use this tool?

Usually I prefer a testimonial directly from the supporter(s) before expressing interest in anything in particular.

Originally I developed this tool for help learning a new language. But then one day a user wrote to me and said that her deaf and non-verbal daughter is using it as a text to speech tool as well. This gave me the idea that may be I should make this tool known to the deaf community as well. May be with enough feedback I will be able to make it into a really useful tool not for just the second language learning community.
