Please take a minute to respond to this short survey. Your answers are greatly appreciated!

1. Would you prefer to live in a residential community where A) everyone is deaf ["exclusively deaf"], B) most of the residents are deaf ["majority deaf"], C) some people may be deaf and some people may be hearing ["random"], or D) deaf and hearing people have intentionally chosen to live in the same building ["intentional community"]? (Please answer A, B, C, or D.)

2. If you answered B or D, would you prefer that the hearing residents meet certain requirements (e.g., must know/learn ASL, etc.) to live in the community? (Please answer YES, NO, or NO OPINION. If YES, please explain.)

3. Do you think there is any value in an "intentional community" (Intentional community - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia) of deaf and hearing adults trying to learn from their unique cultural experiences/identities? (Please answer YES, NO, or NO OPINION. If NO, please explain.)

4. If the community is truly intentional, where all deaf and hearing adults who live there really share a common purpose to exchange their cultures, do you think it matters what percentage of residents is deaf? (Please answer YES, NO, or NO OPINION. If YES, please explain.)

5. Do you think younger deaf adults [20 to 40s] would be interested in moving into an intentional community like this? (Please answer YES, NO, or NO OPINION. If NO, please explain.)

6. Do you think older deaf adults [50s and 60s] would be interested in moving into an intentional community like this? (Please answer YES, NO, or NO OPINION. If NO, please explain.)

7. Would it make the intentional community MORE APPEALING or LESS APPEALING if all the hearing residents were working artists and the purpose of the community was learning through the visual and creative arts? (Please answer MORE APPEALING, LESS APPEALING, or NO OPINION. If LESS APPEALING, please explain.)
