PARMA, Idaho (KBOI) - A former employee at a Treasure Valley school academy has been arrested for giving students prescription medication, police said Wednesday.

Parma Police say Roberta Kondo of Nampa was arrested Wednesday at the Canyon-Owyhee School Service Agency in Wilder. Officials say the drugs may or may not have been sold on campus and that part of the investigation is on-going.

Kondo was hired by the academy in October. The arrest was part of an investigation by Parma, Wilder and the Idaho State Police.

Kondo has been arrested for felony delivery of a controlled substance.

Bryan Taylor, Canyon County prosecutor, told KBOI-TV that Kondo allegedly gave the students prescription pain meds.

COSSA has more than 1,375 students and is described as an alternative school for special education, including “at risk” students and gifted/talented students.

It is affiliated with Homedale, Marsing, Notus, Parma, and Wilder school districts
