I'm glad that it didn't happen. Wow!
 
I saw this on the news and thought what the HELL is going on with kids today ??? I am so glad someone notice the boy acting strange and calling the cops.
 
Isn't it time to examine quality of education, did we provide enough? What we could change in education? Something is DEFINITELY gone wrong with our education system, period.

I agree , one of my daughter high school teacher told me wish he had 12 students like my daughter then his job would be a lot easier as a teacher.
I am not sure what parents are doing or not doing at home with their kids today. Or there is something in the drinking water that making kids violent .

Steiny, not to appear to be coming from the theatre of the macabre, but I'd like to ask you this...since you have a relatively new-born child; thus a head start: Have you and/or like-minded parents in your area thought about scoping out the physical plant of the first school you will be sending your children to?

Yes, we have. And our State Governor just passed HB 60 which allows license CCW educators to carry concealed in the classroom.

I am more comfortable with this measure than leaving kids defenseless. And ... in my area, the Police and Sheriff Depts. are all oath keepers. The only people I am personally worried about are the local politicians (just a handful - some are actually in politics to help people and not fatten their bank accounts).
 
We just had school lockdown in a town near me. Someone left a threaten note in a bathroom . No one was hurt but it sure was upsetting to hear . My daughter said this has happen a few times in her city schools too and that really has me worried with my granddaughter going to school .
