DHB and I saw two police officer's action in video as police brutality - the video interpreted same way as what we are saying.

but... you disagree with me - that's fine with me and I'm not going to debate with you about police brutality.

:hmm:...maybe Foxrac thinks it's perfectly OK to verbally abuse Cops and refuse to follow orders....still yakkity-yak-yak on the phone when the time is up....refusing to put on a jail uniform or be handcuffed when refusing to be so...

I believe that police officers must restrain her down in professional matter - not interested go above the law or over the constitution.

the Supreme Court actually ruled that it's perfectly legal to verbally abuse police officers and it is not an arrestable offense.

don't like it? seek different career.

That's fine, I was just curious as to WHAT you saw as brutality. How else are they supposed to put someone in a jail cell that refuses to cooperate?

that's their job to figure it out. if using violence to make someone to submit... then I'm afraid they're in a wrong job.
 
perhaps they should learn a thing or two from The Viking Robocop :lol: he didn't need no dang taser or gun or pummeling around.

They teach take down techniques in the academy. They practice takedown techniques regularly. Physical altercations are part of the job unfortunately.

Two police officers have to hold her against wall or try put down on floor - they need use taser gun to taze her or call more officers for help.

No difference from jail - they use taser gun if you try to resist.

Those are country boys. There are a lot of them that look like that in east Texas. :lol: Some of those big boys can fly too though. I used to play ball with a bunch of cops from that area. You don't want to mess with the men or the women out there. That women they arrested is a beast.

I agree. she's indeed a beast. I do agree that she was non-compliant but that doesn't mean officers can throw her around and pummel away MMA-style.

what's clear is that these officers need a serious re-training in take-down but since they're fired... oh well

Two guys against a person that size....holding them against the wall isn't going to work. In that tiny town that may have been all of the cops on duty at that time. This wasn't the city. That is why they tried the desk instead. Then they did as you said and put her on the floor. Never threw a punch (which the could have) never kicked her. They just wrestled her to the ground.

Unfortunately tasers are not legal in every county here. I am not sure they had them. But all of those injuries or even worse could have resulted from being tased.

I would say this was perfect... But I don't think it was termination worthy. The second guy should have been called in the second she threw the phone. IMO.

it could be either from public outcry or officers' unfavorable history
