I was hoping someone would be willing to give me some of their time and answer a few basic questions. I am an ASL III student and need to have an interview with a Deaf person that I do not personally know. I just need to ask about childhood, education, work experience. Anything that you think would promote Deaf awareness too. Thank you very much- Amy

Hi Thread.....
I suggest you go to Pizza Hut, the one on West Henrietta Road, many students who are attending RIT Interpreting Programs go there for fellowship and just general chatting plus eating dinner. It is on the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 6pm until 9 pm. Hope you have time to attend. It is a mix of hearing and deaf persons. Also there is another gathering at the Atlanta Bread Company on Monroe Ave. next to Mann's Jewelers. We meet on the 4th Thursday of the month as well. Hope this helps......
