Would you please tell me what kind of help and advice you are looking for? I can tell you, yes it sounds nice thanks for sharing, but I dont think its being helpful.

Everybody can and should (if they want to) express their thoughts and feelings in writen form. Poems and tales are very good way of communication. So I would never turn somebody and say "no its bad". The way people express themselves is always good in that sense.

But your goals may be different. For example maybe you want to get published one day, or you want to reach greater numbers of readers. Or maybe its just for you but you want to make your pieces out of ordinary. Then of course we will read the tale and talk on it at a different level.

It all depends on what kind of advice and help you are seeking.

and thank you Hermes for your tme..i have been published2 times and currently have a deal with Random House for a book being released at Christmas..it will perhaps becom a trilogy. this tale is something i wrote as a catharsis of sorts..i am a widow of 17 months and i am that princess...nothing more..i just felt it was a way to cleanse myself psychologically...smile..i hold a PhD in Human Ecology that allows me to teach or counsel
i do motivational speaking and just wanted some feedback from someone i could immediately identify as a creative, well educated spirit..since my deafness..i have been caught between the hearing and deaf cultures and it has taught me many things..I guess I was just putting this out there to see what response i would get...i am very happy being exactly who i am..thank you again...perhaps i wasn't clear...i was not asking for help with my writing but rather help understanding what this site was all about...i don't know some of the technical things i need to know like how do i select my own text and sizes without using the codes and how do i delete something that i placed int he wrong area??/ laughing...thanks and if you could explain to me some of the basic workings of the site i would greatly appreciate it....peace to you..i hope we can be friends...i would like that...smile
 
Yes I did guess it was a personal story. Thats why I asked what kind of feedback you are expecting. I like the story, I like it more the fact that it told us something about you. I know while we can easily share our work that is distanced from us, it becomes more difficult when its a personal story. Thank you for sharing.

About the site: There is a how to use alldeaf forum section You also can ask your questions there. Just browse down from index to see forum help section. When it comes to using the editor, it works like any other word processor. If you used one , you will find it similar. The only difference is, once you hit the button it will add a code in format of [XXX] or [/xxx]. First one is where that command starts and dash one is where it ends. Just select the text you want to apply a style or change fonts/size and hit the button from up menu. If you hit preview button next to submit reply, you can see how final post looks like.
If you use quick reply there isnt many choices. So you can go to advanced editor for more options.
