Phobias of needles.

Thank you for that... picture. My stomach churned.

I am deathly afraid of needles, or any invasive procedures. At first I wasn't too afraid of them, but after going to the hospitals so many time... I came to associate blood tests and invasive procedures as contributing to my health problems.

My co worker has a physological fear of needles and she is 48 years old. The mention if it just freaks her out. She said once someone is afraid of them, nothing really can help.

Hope your daughter will get it done and realize it isnt that bad and wont be so scared next time?

I guess the only thing I can do at the moment is talk to her doctor. and perhaps hold her hand while she get the shots.

Isn't your daughter entering the 7th grade as well? If so. has she had her shots yet to do so? and how did she react to it?

ICK! I don't like needles either but what choices do we have? NONE! Our son HATES needle too...he would FIGHT with dr, nurses etc...now he improved since then, I hope! :cool2:

If dr need get my lab done....I would have to request the lab to use the butterfly needles because my veins are so small.

Here is the image of it what it looks like.
