Permissible Filth is Allowed in Food

I had a friend that brought a chocolate Hershey bar and when he broke the bar in half he round rat hairs in his candy. So he called the FDA and reported this to them and my friend was shocked when he was told companies are to have some permissible filth in their.

its the same all over the world...

best buy chcocolate from Sweden, best in the world, but, EXPENSIVE

oh good, and now I know not to :ty: some things cannot be unseen :D

Actually the pictures themselves are harmless (like a normal rat, for example) it's the thought of their parts being in food. *shudders*

that tiny hair could be pubes, staff having their 'time off when boss not looking' LOL

I'll never look at a Hersheys bar the same again ewwww :eek3:

food isn't made and kept in hermetically sealed rooms. Some stuff is bound to get in there.

I didn't look at the pictures but I'm thinking that what is legally allowed isn't even detectable.

eh deal with it. even if you grow your own food and cook it yourself.... it will contain those "11 permissible filth"

I think if you are doing it for yourself and family only and are super careful, there will be way less than 11......

I have grown my own food and never found rat or rat hairs on my food or in homemade food. I have found snails and cutworms in my garden and I was careful not to bring them in my house .
