Penn State to be hit with 'significant, unprecendented' penalties

NCAA took child molestation very seriously, really very serious.

My comment on that is - so one person who claims to be alumni, is speaking on behalf of the entire University that they deserve it.

I don't think so!

Punish the board members, not the students and football players. Not the athletic department. Punish the individuals that allowed this to happen. Punish those who had direct knowledge and did nothing. The entire University is not guilty - the football players are not guilty.

The alumni people felt what's right. Because football team represents their school. They're upset about what happened and they wanted to make it right and get a clean slate once the punishment lifts.

Keep in mind, the NCAA punishment is only focus on their football program, not Academic side. The $60 million that NCAA gave to Penn State will go to abused children victim charty. Penn State lost scholarships that given to football players and get postseason bowl ban.

If Penn State people accepted the punishment and not you. That I don't understand.

Penn St. will continue to play football...4 yr postseason ban..lose 10 scholarships a yr..5 yr probation.. just too bad that Joe Paterno isnt alive to see this. NCAA doesnt want another copycat. Penn St. tried to get rid of Joe for yrs and he was just stubborn..all the wins since 1998 vacated.. Now, Indiana football should compete with Penn St. :laugh2: I was at the game when the player got paralyzed and saw Joe on the field.. something I wont forget.
