I would like to know some PC subtitles.

Anyone who play battlefield, sims 2, and company of heroes. Subtitles???

The Sims 2 don't have subtitles but 100% free-roaming or just simulation but people are just talk like normal hearing and nothing to show subtitles that what they talk about it. I stopped to play Sims 2 in several month ago due bad lag on my computer.

I think about Sims 2 (Including University, Nightlife, Open the Business, Pets and expansion packs) are supposed to release on PS3 because BD is largest space and cell processor, that make Sims 2 to work so well without lag.

Sim City 4 have subtitles but just looks like message or news but EA need release Sim City 4 on 360 instead of PC because we can use keyboard and mice without any lag, unlike about what happen with PC.

The Sims in Sims 2 (and all the expansions) speak "Simlish," which is a gibberish language. There is no need to hear it because you can tell what they're talking or thinking about based on the thought bubbles above their heads and other graphical representations. In fact sometimes the Simlish is misleading because a character will sound angry, but it turns out she's happy (you see little plusses or minuses over their heads representing how the conversation is going).

When important events take place in Sims 2, there is a little camera that zooms in on the appropriate place, like a burglar sneaking in or a fire. Also when the phone rings, it shakes visibly on the wall. When things happen like a good party took place, or a promotion, it's all done via written messages, not sound. I can't think of any situations (although there might be some) where you have to be able to hear in order to participate in the game. It seems pretty deaf-friendly to me.

Yea, Maxis is doing well for us about deaf-friendly game and haven't got problem with this game.

Thanks for feedback about sims 2. I thought about getting one for my gaming laptop.

Do you use keyboard on sim2 mostly than joystick?

Well, You will use mice for Sims 2 at most time, and its not hard to do it.

Yes, I don't think I ever use the keyboard in Sims 2, just the mouse. I don't know if it can be played with a joystick.

I know this was forever ago, but if you're still interested, the voiceover in Battlefield 2142 is captioned, and the other sound cues (like heavy breathing when you've sprinted too far) all have visual representation. Seems pretty deaf-friendly to me from the few minutes I saw. Enjoy!
