Many falsehoods exposed:

"This time, there wasn't a family vote," Palin told Winfrey. "Other steps in my political life, I've polled the kids, and I have abided by some of the results of the polls that the kids have partaken in. This time, no."

But in September of 2008, Palin told an entirely different story to Fox News' Sean Hannity.

"What was your family's reaction?" Hannity asked. "Was there time to huddle and have a hockey team meeting?"

"It was a time of asking the girls to vote on it, anyway," Palin told Hannity. "And they voted unanimously, yes. Didn't bother asking my son because, you know, he's going to be off doing his thing anyway, so he wouldn't be so impacted by, at least, the campaign period here."

Seriously Palin misrepresent herself so much which is the reason for the tension in campaigning

"It was of incredibly great concern on the campaign -- her constant misstatement of facts," a former McCain senior aide said in a phone conversation on Sunday. "That is what the tension was fundamentally about."

It's hard to assess when context aren't clear and that we're seeing only clips of her comments. And again I'd take this with a grain of salt on this "reporting" since it has been shown time and time again the MSM tendency to twist the fact and skew the contents of what was said.

Did you really have to bring up such a painful memory? Oh Brittany, why?

Personal issues manifested in the form of throwing these minibombs? Seriously, man. I am beginning to wonder here. I'm just interested on the topic at hand, not petulent comments. Not aiming at you, DD but to others before. Last time I looked this thread is about Palin and her book.

while you're interested in sticking with the subject... here's my question pertaining to this subject -

so you're saying Palin's 400-page book is honest and factual?

Oh come on...the lady went on the Oprah program...and was paid to appear....which means she agreed to simple interview type questions....Palin does not strike me as the kind of woman who reads anything ...but perhaps girlie makeup fashion mags etc. She didn't h
You can't really defend this ditzy flake. Her time is over....McCain made a big mistake and noone will touch her or give serious support. that's the way it goes in politics. Damaged goods. It's silly even debating her as a possible candidate.

Palin STILL doesn't answer Oprah's question. "Why don't you just tell her the names of magazines you read?"

"Because I was annoyed"

Oh? She's annoyed because she was asked a simple question?!

If I was asked that simple question, I'd just say flatly, "I get most of the info from the Internet and some from Time, newsweek, and National Enquirer."

It's that simple! :)

She's not running for prez. So, why is everybody so deathly afraid of her? Why not just ignore her then if she isn't a threat?

She is ugly without hair, for sure. You were lucky she rebuffed your advances. Thanks for the laughs, seriously.

Let me try.

Palin's book is full of lies.

You haven't even read it. Heck, it took 11 Associated Press reporters to scour through her 400 page book and only found 6 minor errors.
