Organizations partner for interpreter service in 35 foreign languages, American Sign Language | The Republic
Businesses in Sioux Falls now have a central number to call when they need an interpreter for more than 35 foreign languages and American Sign Language.
Under the new partnership, Lutheran Social Services will access the Communication Service for the Deaf platform for scheduling interpreters and invoicing clients.
Previously, the two organizations would get requests for the other's expertise.
The solution arose out of numerous requests from large industries to begin using CSD's platform that can provide remote sign language interpreting with both audio and video. The businesses wanted to be able to use this same method to access foreign language interpreters.
