Hello. I'm new here but I've been a lurker on the forum for a while now.
I just had a thought and I'm quite serious about doing it. I might make a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) intended for deaf people with deaf culture in the game world. You will be able to create your own character and communicate with other people using sign language that your avatar (your in-game character) will sign. You can fight monsters using some magical sign language, or something. I'm not really sure how the battling system will work. But, there will be monsters for people to fight. I'm open to any ideas. You can get armors, and other things.
Before I start, I want to know if it's worth it. Currently, the game is called Silent World Online. (Name subject to change)
I'm fluent in programming and currently learning how to model 3D graphics.
I got everything except the battle system planned. I'm not sure whether to use the classic sword and arrows system or learn new 'signs' as magical spells to fight evil monsters or something.
What are your thoughts on this idea? If people like the idea, I can start working on it and post progress, etc.
