Just curious. I wonder how many of you in your belief are Oneness or Trinitian? For those who are not to sure what I am talking about... Tritian is those who believe that God is 3 seperate enities ( The Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit). A large majority of churches in the U.S. are trinitarians. When you were baptized, most of you were baptized in the following saying " I baptized you in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost". As I recently learn, many churches are doing this wrong.
In the Book of Acts 2:38, Peter said unto the crowd to repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. For the first 300 years many churches followed this belief. It wasn't until after the Catholic religion was established, they adopted this belif. Even today's times, many churches know that they are supposed to baptized in Jesus name, many are stuck by the tradition of doing things they way they have been done historicialy. Which would you rather follow, the true way it should be done or the way it has been done bounded by tradition?
