Just curious. I wonder how many of you in your belief are Oneness or Trinitian? For those who are not to sure what I am talking about... Tritian is those who believe that God is 3 seperate enities ( The Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit). A large majority of churches in the U.S. are trinitarians. When you were baptized, most of you were baptized in the following saying " I baptized you in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost". As I recently learn, many churches are doing this wrong.
In the Book of Acts 2:38, Peter said unto the crowd to repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. For the first 300 years many churches followed this belief. It wasn't until after the Catholic religion was established, they adopted this belif. Even today's times, many churches know that they are supposed to baptized in Jesus name, many are stuck by the tradition of doing things they way they have been done historicialy. Which would you rather follow, the true way it should be done or the way it has been done bounded by tradition?

Doesnt matter to me. I am not a big whorshipper. As long as I have faith in myself and faith in God...all the other stuff means little to me.

I understand that, what Book of Acts talking about is salvation only thru Jesus Christ. As in Matthew 28, when Jesus said, "....baptized them in the name of The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit." Need to weight the whole message instead parts or pluck one and ignore the other.

I do believe in monotheism which is believe in ONE GOD. Let me explain you that I am very supportive Trinity which shows the word "GOD" translates in hebrew language is ELOHIM. The definite of Elohim is more than one persons. Look at Genesis 1:26a, "And God, "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness..." Look at "us" and "our" which is a plural --- more than one single. Who God speaks to? God the Father, God the Son Jesus, and God the Holy Spirit are ONE GOD. 3 person in 1 GOD. Trinity = Tri (3) + unity in one GOD

"Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one Lord." Deut. 6:4

"Come ye near unto me, hear ye this; I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was, there am I: and now the Lord GOD (Father), and his Spirit (Holy Spirit), hath sent me. Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer (Jesus), the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go." Isaiah 49:16-17

"For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word (Jesus), and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one." 1 John 5:7
