Let's forget about these magazine articles.
I personally owned both one of these WORST and BEST cars...
these worst cars I've ever experienced were
both Fiat X19 (italian sportscar always broke down)
and Gremlin

Best cars were: BMW, Grand Prix and Monte Carlo

But its groovy 70s looks belied an astonishing defect: The Pinto’s defective gas tank, if hit by another car traveling at a moderate speed, would simply burst into flames, resulting in a number of deadly fires and explosions.

Aww.. I had my first car.. 1976 Vega... It was GREAT car.. but had trouble with fuel pump often.. good thing I am into grease elbow work.. :P I had that car for 2 years before someone put sugar in the gas.. :/ that was famous doing by that in 80's ..

I had ford pinto after vega broke down.. I dont really like ford pinto.. feel unsafe cuz it was so small and light.. you could feel big cars or trucks go by on hwy, you go like floating.. lol

aww.. I miss those old cars. :/ I am not too crazy with new cars cuz of so much electric and wires.. I couldnt do elbow grease.. only just change oil or add oil & fluids.. :P

LOL i agreed with you.. my sister had her FIRST car.. Fiat x19.. (rme).. I was comparing her with my cars.. hers constantly breaking down.. for 2 years finally she decided to get other car.. ( )

and I had 1978 and 1980 Monte Carlo.. I love those.. LONG nose.. lol
