One of my friend gave me a free bike. It was a Magna women mountain bike that didn't have working brakes. You cannot ride it because brakes were stuck.
My friend told me to pass it to someone who may want it. You know, pay it forward.
Therefore, I would just give away a free bike to a kid, but they'll have to learn how to fix it. Or I would drop it off to be auctioned off and donate what I get from auction.
Well, it sold for only $10. I got $2.50 after auction fees. I would donate that $2.50. Just think that if I donate $2.50 to a cat rescue group, that is few cans of food you can buy. I'm sure many groups would be happy with $2.50.
So therefore, if you were given a bike with 2 broken brakes, which course of donation would you use?
