I have heard farmer produce their own power from cow shyts, and that farmer sold some of his power to others cause he produced more power than what he needed.

Since more and more power companies are now converting from Coal to Natural gas. Perfect opportunity for sewer companies to collect methane and sell them to power companies. Natural gas itself is methane after all.

Yes, but this is not about methane but about using exoelectrogenic microbes to help make this "microbe battery" work.
