Ok, you're wondering about the title, huh?

First, this can be an Ask Me Anything thread. There's enough of us who have done this and I haven't, so MY TURN !!! :)

Secondly, as of this post I am only 11 away from 1,000 posts, so I figured you all might as well help me get there :)

Thirdly, something you didn't know ... my childhood nickname was Muffin. It stuck with me all through high school. In high school, we got a new dog and we named her Muffin. Hence, the tradition continued ... But since that was 20 years ago, Muffin is now in dog heaven. As is the name.

Let's go! :)

Your turn!
What kind of cat do you have?

Hi! :)

I have 3 cats. One is a tabby, another is a calico, and the third is a tabby/siamese mix. Here is a pix of the calico - she is what I call "thunder thighs" ! :) (and before you think she's not that fat, she is only 6 months old in this picture..yet she can fill up the sink!)

p.s. the black cat you see in my signature is Onyx. She died last year of kidney failure at 15 years old, but she is the reason behind the "alleycat" name if that was what you were wondering.

hhhmmmmm.... do you have a mole like Marilyn Monroe?

Wow! six-mo. old cat is outgrowing the sink bed. I can see why you call'er TT.
Senior alleycat reminded me nostalgically of an old cat, that's why I had to inquire..

What makes you a chicken in a cat suit?

That would be the tabby/siamese mix (Cleo). She is one fraidy-cat! Afraid of the front door opening, any loud noises, strangers, anything that doesn't "fit" her normal life. So I call her a chicken in a cat suit. :D

Hey hey, I've got one of those too - she's afraid of any uncommon noise. You could do a pin drop behind her and she'd jump startled and look at you with freaked out eyes.

999, almost there!

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?

In a house, condo, apartment, acreage?

There's more pictures of these 3 in the "Pictures of your Pets" thread.

What do you feed the cats?

LOL :) Abby and Cleo are of normal weight. They're free fed, and their food is in a place where the Thunder Thighs, Millie can't get to it. Millie has been on a diet since about a year old (she's now 4) and I can't get her to lose the weight! She sees the vet frequently and is on vet-prescribed diet food yet she just won't lose it. After 3 years... I don't think she ever will, I just hope to stop her from continuing to gain .. :(

Hmmm ... as to where, I really don't know. I live in Minnesota and most winters I get sick of living here but the summers are beautiful. I wouldn't mind moving south someday like Arizona where it's hot and dry.

I live in a house now and will always want to live in a house. It's on a beautiful wooded lot (but not a big lot at all), I hope my next house has lots of acreage.

My Mom had a cat like that. He had an extra toe. Those breeds of cats usually have a tendency to get huge.

His name was Fat Cat.

What would you like to accomplish in 2009?

Hmmm .. am starting school Jan. 12th so I hope for perfect grades ... Get a good part-time job to keep while in school ... Those two things will keep me busy!

Nice pictures! I can almost see their if-they-were-human personalities.
