Oil Spill Leaks Into The Florida School For The Deaf And The Blind - Jacksonville News Story - WJXT Jacksonville

A diesel fuel leak is discovered Monday morning in the bus barn of the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind in downtown St.Augustine.

Channel 4 spoke with campus police who said the diesel got into the runoff drain, but did not get into the marsh.

Less than 100 gallons were released and the St.Augustine Fire Department was able to contain the spill.

The Department of Environmental Protection is also helping out with the spill.
 
Saw that earlier. They made it sound like it was a major oil spill. I am glad they were able to keep it out of the marsh. I am more concern about the boats that do not maintain their gas line or tank. Causing it to leak gas or oil in the water than FSDB.
