Occupy Boston is being evicted!!!!

I am not against free speech, but if you really think of it the protesters are costing cities money they do not have and when the cities and states need more money guess where it come from! From people that pay taxes and people are having a hard enough time with out having to pay to clean up after the protesters and have cops work over times. The protesters are putting more burden on working people. They can protest then go home . I heard it smelled like urine at the site and that is a health risk.

'Occupy' Protests Cost Nation's Cities At Least $13 Million: Survey

Costs? You want to talk about costs? Get a load of this: The Federal Reserve's 'breathtaking' $7.7 trillion bank bailout - The Week

I heard that there are aliens, too.

I made a colonial outfit last week. Maybe I should put it on and head to Boston?

Honestly, their point has been made(as obvious a point as it is). As I said before, the protests are not going to stop anything. Unless they have a clear way of dealing with politicians taking $6.5 million from people on wall street nothing is gong to change. They need to form a political solution instead of just causing a scene(which they have already done).

And, Mennino is right, they are denying other people from using the park instead of denying people from Wall Street from doing business. It solves nothing.

Have them all vote for Elizabeth Warren!

They have accomplished the first goal. They have people talking, and they have support. That has to be accomplished before anything else can be undertaken.

Elizabeth Warren should be on the Cabinet. She's incorruptible so policiticans are afraid of her.

Do you think that the revolutionists sat around and thought about how inconvenient a revolution would be? The tea party will make a mess. We'll be depriving people of tea. The colonists will have to pay for the tea destroyed. If we get caught, we're dead. Maybe we'll just play some chess.

Oh give me a break.......the park isn't even the Common. It's not even being USED as a park....the bit where it is, basicly just juts out onto South Station. It's not like they Occupied Central Park or Prospect Park or whatever.

as for smelling like urine.....first of all, urine is sterile....second of all, a city doesn't smell very good anyway. Heck cities are dirty!

I read that some churches have offered their property to the occupiers. Got a complaint about occupying a church?

Hannah said that they were doing that in NYC....offering living quarters to the Occupiers.

Mission accomplished(it's not like people weren't talking before)! Please, someone, ask them what's next!

What bothers me is that all this momentum is going to go to waste, forget about the freakin park and move on to something that will actually accomplish a goal.

I believe I posted a story about the same thing in the New York OWS. Gives a whole new meaning to "granting sanctuary".

Yes, Mama Nan in one of her statuses said that right after the raid, Hannah said that a lot of churches were taking in people.

Maybe as soon as they can stop trying to protect themselves from cops with pepper spray and flash grenades, they will.:P

It's not theirs and it doesn't accomplish anything. Everybody in the entire U.S. knows Wall Street owns congress. Besides sleeping in tents, how are they going to solve the problem? Have they gotten signatures to put any laws up to popular vote about what the maximum interest rate on a credit card can be?

Honestly, drama without substance means nothing!

It has garnered support. I posted a story earlier in the thread in the current events section that over 75% of people polled were supportive of OWS and their cause. Now, if they move toward petitions they know they have the support they need.

and their hair being yanked. If you saw a picture of a woman with her hair being yanked by an NYPD cop, on Facebook.....that is my Hannah! (pic of her from that video I psoted)
