Whatever you say so, economy is just bad so give more time for economy to recover and I know it does sucks but that's part of life.

I never trust any conservatives in US, of course because of situation with GLBT rights so I don't give a damn if it isn't related with this topic, even they already lost my respect.

I respect your views. I am a Libertarian as I also support GLBT rights to a certain extent. I draw the line at when someone constantly reminds the world of their sexual orientation. Its private.

I will give you an example. Suppose I am watching television about a machinist. Suppose this machinist is constantly reminding viewers that he is a GAY machinist. The show suddenly stops being a show about a machinist, and then becomes a show about being openly gay.

It does not matter to me what your sexual orientation is as long as you are a competent machinist .... not sure if that made any sense.

I mean, imagine watching the same show, but the machinist constantly reminds viewers that he is straight. Suppose he constantly makes it a point that he is a hetero machinist.

It doesn't make sense to me. Your sexual orientation is your business, not mine.

Oh interesting, I don't know that you are libertarian and I know about libertarian but seems divided like conservative in fiscal (taxes, government spending, financial responsibility, smaller government) and liberal in social (GLBT rights, abortion). Now, in Washington is just major two parties, democratic vs. republican so I have pick one in any of two to support and if I believe that GLBT issues is more important so I have vote for liberal but pretty hard choice as left me so no choice at overall.

I think some of conservative views is great, especially on gun rights, hunting and lower taxes so I'm just 70% liberal, of course but two parties in US are very divided and impossible to have absolutely perfect government.

I do like Conservative Party in UK because they are changed so much, such as support gay rights, better financial responsibility and maybe have better chance to improve the NHS in England by giving more funds. I'm predicting that would be huge upset ever in UK because Labor Party is very corrupted and many British lost the trust with Labor Party due situation with warfare, I believe so and forwarding for UK election in June.

Today, Republicans are still unchanged on anything that why I lost the interest from them but for Libertarian Party, it is very interesting and I would like them to have chance to run in Washington by minimize of Republican and Democrat.

The republican party has certainly become a much different party than years ago. They used to claim they were for limited government power and less interference in people's private lives. Well, dictating who and who cannot get married based on sexual orientation is a major invasion of the very privacy they claim they wish to protect.

Your sexual orientation is NOT the government's business either (as long as it is between consenting adults).

Also, the republican party was the party that freed the slaves. I do not understand why this party has clamped down on individuals whom are productive and harmless citizens, and contributors to society and treated them as if though they are criminals. I have never understood it.

Yup, I remember that after I read history about Republican Party and it does make me so sad when they are changing too much like back in 1970's, Republican Party believe in limited government and less interference with anyone's privacy like you said but now, Republican Party seems not same as original planned was in past.

I would wonders about Democratic Party if they are changing in past.

I think anyone who is religious and ultra conservative need form in different party and allows to restore the Republican Party to original as totally true libertarian like similar to before 1980's.

I think the ultra religious conservatives need to be kindly reminded that Jesus never preached about hatred or exclusiveness.

I believe in Jesus and God. I do not believe that God wanted his children to act out in hateful spite. That is the opposite message than the one I got.

Every single one of us fu@ed up. No single person is perfect.

In fact, it even says in the KJV that the worst sin of them all, is harboring hatred against another. This sin, in God's eyes, is worse than murder, rape, stealing and etc.

These ultra conservative churches that go to the funerals of soldiers and cheer the death of our fallen brethren due to the military's don't ask don't tell policy - they are the evil ones.

Jesus made it very clear about judging people. he specifically said that if you are without any fault at all, you can cast the first stone (this means - if you are absolutely perfect, no fault at all, you may pass judgement on others). I'm Christian and do believe in God as well but I don't like ultra conservative religious that trying to control on my life because of religious way.

It's just amazing how much better our war on Al Qaeda under Obama is than under Bush - he promises he intends to kill Osama bin Laden and it seems like the time is coming!

I'm proud of my brother, who is going to be sent to Aftganistan. I hope they get this over with soon.
