Again, sorry if you were confused by that. Like I told Foxrac any confusion should have been cleared up by post 5. My concern is that the campaign is working even on the 4th.... And not only that it is raising money in France. I find that highly disturbing. If you do not feel the same way, that is fine. I understand Obama is desperate for money...... But France? Not cool in my book. Oh well.

Nobody was confused, that's quite apparent. If you'd been smart enough to leave the "Obama's 4th of July" title off, you might not have found yourself with 3 pages of this.

Actually it appears many were confused. Oh well. Notice it didn't say "trip" or "plans" or "vacation". Anyone reading the link would have known it was discussing the campaign. BTW, great seeing you posting here despite your goodbyes. Even if you are here to disagree. :wave:

So a hearing woman releases a book of profane ASL, and that is Capitalism at its' best. But if Obama's campaign committee does not follow the Conservative edict to only solicit funds according to their rules, he is a traitor?

Well, a lot people misread or misunderstood as you are putting it.
I read the posts by airportcop, authentic, kokonut, Lau2046 who also felt Obama's disgraceful for going to France to fundraise on July 4th.
I thought it meant Obama is going to Paris in a couple days for the fundraiser due to the direction the discussion went, and so did the others.

In the end probably nearly everyone in the thread misunderstanding the OP, not only AlleyCat or Foxrac. I think the title could use some better revision so people don't end up confused especially for the newcomers - they don't always read the later posts.

Pretty much what I said in post 84. There is certainly alot of confusion. If you would like to change the title to "Obama's July 4th Fundraiser in France" or something like that it's fine with me. I, of course, can't edit the title.

No backpedaling necessary.... Sorry you feel that way. I did just post to Naisho that I have no problem with him changing the title since so many misunderstood.

That's good to copy all article headline to title like I did but... if headline has longer text so you could try to define on your own to make similar to what headline say.

Yup, we can't edit the title after post and we have to ask mod to edit the title.
 
PSA.....You can change your own title now....maybe always. Go edit then advanced. Advice via- Naisho
