North Korean worker executed for passing on news

That's pretty sad and to add insult to injury, the guy smuggled information on the pricing of rice.

That's what got him killed. Frickin' rice.
 
It's like that in several countries, includeing some in Middle East. Just leaving Islam calls for death capital.

What is your point? North Korea isn't muslim country but just very authoritarian country, similar to China and some African countries, such as Congo (Zaire).

You read him wrong, his point was that, to in these countries there's hardly any freedom at all, everybody know North Korea is not Islamland, the point was its sooo freaken bad that you cant decide what to believe, you have to believe what they believe or else it will cost your life. In NK that journalist got killed because apparently he didnt believe in the state (although alot of NKers not might either but are forced to keep their traps shut and not communicate with outsiders about their real 'feelings') similarly, to cease to believe in Islam results the same consequences, all from this kind of suppression of freedom.
