Hi! I just joined this site to get help with ASL. I'm taking it in college towards a degree in speech pathology. My mom taught deaf children when I was little but she didn't teach me much. :( Hoping to meet lots of nice people here!
 
speech therapy? *makes sign of the cross* Oh well...if you're learning ASL, at least you're somewhat deaf friendly and aren't nessarily the " Grizelda Fothergill" type of speech therapist.

Haha. I had a lisp as a child and was a nanny for twins that used therapy. I know what the system is like and I'm preparing myself to make a difference!

And I'm very deaf friendly. My mom was a teacher at the Florida school for the deaf and blind when I was growing up!
