definitely an inside job. the robbery "choreography" was too good - they did a VERY good job snatching these laptops.... that actually impressed me

never heard of Sagemore... I just googled it and it's 30 min away from Philly
 
These robber didn't realize that all Macbook Pros, iPhones and iPod Touchs are now worthless, because they being touch by million people everyday. Only I can hope that they would get swine flu or something.

Police use tracking device to nab Rockland iPhone theft suspects

WEST NYACK - Two Spring Valley men accused of swiping iPhones from the Apple store were electronically tracked down and arrested, Clarkstown police said today.

The suspects, Marvin Brown, 25, and Christopher Davis, 22, yesterday were accused of stealing four iPhones, each with a GPS tracking feature, police said.

The four phones were valued at $3,594, police said.

After two men ran out of the Apple Store at the Palisades Center, authorities broadcast their descriptions over the countywide police radio system and turned on the GPS tracking on the phones, Clarkstown Sgt. Harry Baumann said.

The electronic trackers led police to the Lowe's parking lot on Route 303 in Orangetown, Baumann said.

Orangetown police were notified and took Brown and Davis into custody, Baumann said.

Both men were found with the four phones, as well as two other stolen iPhones, Baumann said. One phone was stolen Aug. 3 from the Garden State Mall in Paramus, N.J., while the second one was taken Aug. 22 from the Walt Whitman Mall in Suffolk County, Baumann said.

They are scheduled to appear Sept. 3 to answer felony counts of fourth-degree grand larceny and fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.

Brown and Davis were being held in the Rockland county jail in New City in lieu of $5,000 bail each.

ah... Palisade Center Shopping Mall (the one where a young man committed suicide by jumping off the 4th floor)... and I hate Garden State Mall.

Route 303.... aahhhhh I got pulled over there few times for speeding - never got any single ticket :cool2: I also had a car accident on 303. My classmate crashed me from behind cuz she didn't see red light. oh well. My truck sustained minimal damage to my bumper but her poor volvo had extensive frontal damage. oh well.
 
So....it says that 4 phones valued at $3,954....that means those iPhones are worth $900! :shock: The Apple store theft have happened here in WA before.
