I notice Dallas Morning News and Fort Worth Telegram have raise on cost to sell newspaper.

Dallas' was 75¢, now sell for $1.00 on daily from Monday to Saturday while Sunday stay same cost for $1.50

Fort Worth's was 50¢, now sell for big jump as $1.00 on daily from Monday to Saturday. Same cost on Sunday for $1.50

What about your location if any cost change? I find it upset about cost. I love newspaper and I hate news at online. Hopefully, Dallas Morning News offer available to subscribe through Amazon's Kindle then I'm sold.

I just got a bill here. With a big raise. I canceled all but the Sunday paper. So I will read daily online.

The Sunday is worth the cost as it has coupons that I use that are worth more than the subscription.

I read all my news online. Newspapers are somewhat passee'....going out, sadly! I worked for over 30 years among several newspapers.

news online is difficult to look what you can look compare to newspaper.

There are small article that you would be more likely miss at online from what I usually seen on newspaper.

That's piss me off.

Indeed, it have huge ads in there. That's why.

I think it's because people took the advantage of free news online without paying anything instead of buying the newspapers. I read the news online, but that news company are the same as my location newspapers.

online and paper aren't same. When you flip page and you find sound interest. You click, you have to click every article to see if any interest. More time to spend to waste more minutes on their life.

Ditto here.

I do miss reading newspaper everyday. now its sunday only that i can read in an old fashion way. I am not crazy about reading news online. News online isn't the same as newspaper.

Well I feel allright with the online because I like to click which I want to read by the topics. There are some news that I probably are not interested and wouldn't want to waste some of papers.

Also I read online and then read the newspapers at my parents and they happened to have the same information because they both are from the same company. The Columbian online and The Columbian newspapers, the same company.

That price is still a bargin when you consider the price of gas in the United States. Other countries wish they could pay what we do, but then again, take a look at our roads.

I have not subscribed in many years. My home page is set to our local newspaper's home page, so as soon as I get online I get caught up in the daily local and world news right away. Works for me!

The thing I dont like about online new sites is that they break up long article to like 4 pages so they can get more hit counts and hope u see more ads.

I like the online newspapers better for two majors reasons - saving money and enivornment.

I have paid $120 a year to have full access to one national newspapers and eleven local newspapers included classified ads and everything.

Had I subscribed the local newspapers only here, it would cost me about $180 per year.

It wasn't gas. Years ago, gas was high as 4 dollars and newspaper was un-change cost.

Cost goes to the staff who do the layout on newspaper, paper cost, staff to get paid to delivery.

Do you know that people do the layout cost alot? It been required to work fast and headache. It's hard as puzzle to put article and ads together.
