Hi.
My name is Cristine. I am not deaf or hard of hearing. I have a high sensitivity to sounds tho. I am the only person my age (26) that is just now begining to own any music... it just doesn't feel good on my ears
my ear canals "collapsed" when I was 17 after an accident and I had to get them filled up with water-filled-balloons.
It was very painful.
My sensitivity to noise grew.
I am a lurker I hope that I could join... but not really sure if I am welcomed or not.

to AllDeaf forum. Ouch, that is painful for you to have to go through the water balloon, even I never have it. I am Deaf from birth. So I don't know what it is like to hear sounds that make music. I hope you enjoy reading and posting all the threads here. Have fun with us. See you around.
