:wave:I am 28 and moved to Missouri last year from Maryland. I don't know many people and have been looking to meet new people for a while. I am hearing. I know a decent amount of ASL for a beginner. I am self taught as well as environmentally taught. I am looking for more ppl I can communicate with via ASL since I have nobody to use it with other than my ex boyfriends 3yr old, whom I hardly see. I live in Mound City. It's about 30 mins from St. Joseph, MO. I also frequent Kansas, around the Topeka and Manhattan area. Feel free to drop me a line and ask me any questions. I'm very friendly and am excited to meet new ppl.
 
Hey back to ya, I am also hearing trying to remember sign I once knew, looks like I am first to say welcome to AD and hope you like it here, I am also new and really enjoy art I am trying to learn how to post pics of my art, will let you know if I do....stop by say hello whenever.
 
well hello back! thank you for welcoming me....was startin to wonder if i wasn't welcome just cuz i'm hearing.i'm studying ASL on my own right now and i'm really tryin to find others that are using ASL or studying it for friendship. I think the language is beautiful and I'm actually quite disappointed that resources for learning it aren't as widely available as spanish and other languages, being that ASL is the 3rd most commonly used in the US.
