im sorry i cant think of someone whos willing to let you stay over at their place in the city. but one thing is i dont mind to guide you around the city if you like. you sound like a nice chick and thats why i dont mind! lol anyway, try to find out about hostels? i think that there are some hostels worth $20+ a night for sharing room with group of travellers. ive been to one in cali and it wasnt so bad unless if you are backpacking and dont bring anything too expensive.

I live in NYC...actually, in Staten Island, but I'm very close to the city...I would love to meet you. I'm not sure how you want to go about this...since well, I have a couch for ya to crash on, but I also have four other people in my house, but maybe we can work something out? I do have a surgery on 3/29th....sooooo I might not be at my 100% but...I would still love to help in any way I can.

Huntington is a real nice and quiet town. I haven't been
visiting Huntington for a long time it might be changed
or remain the same. I was born and raised in
Farmingdale. Family tend to go to Jones Beach almost
every weekend there. Which beach do you tend to go to ?

i went to jones beach on occasion, sometimes robert moses and some areas up in northport/centerport. i love to go to villages around here, theyre really nice. i went to jones beach on 4th of july last year and it was awesome! there were like a few hundreds thousand of people at the beach looked up on huge firework show. it was gorgeous.

I have decided to cough out more money to get a bed in an international hostel in NYC, at a corner of the Central Park along with my boyfriend and a female friend due to instable cirumstances to several offers by AD New Yorkers...

But I am planning on meeting those New Yorkers of AllDeaf!

So New Yorkers/Yankees- DOnt be shy, if you want to meet the gnarly dorkette of West Coast, PM me! I would love to have somebody to give me a city tour ... this way I dont have to waste my precious weekend on sites that are not fun to visit!

I am going to fly out on April 1st (APRIL FOOL DAY, WHEE... oh dear me, i hope nobody decides to pull a bomb prank on that day..) at 10:45pm to North Carolina for a layover to NYC at 6:30am to meet up the friends/boyfriend there (they leave on Tuesday... it is their spring break, so that is why they get to see more NYC than me ) and hopefully I will hit upon the MET museum and Guggeheim (i cannot spell it at the moment), Central Park, and Chinatown/Little Italy (they are tad way off of my promixity but it would be fun to take SUBWAY!) then swing by to see WTC memorial (it is close to Chinatown and Little Italy),
then hopefully I can find the TimesSquare and visit several broadway shows to find cheap tickets, hopefully, to BLUE MAN GROUP (I have seen them back in 1998, they were HILARIOUS.)....

ANy suggestions which sites in NYC to visit??? ANYBODY WANTS A POSTCARD FROM NYC, PM ME YOUR ADDRESS!

I dont have much of time to hit upon every sight-see sites in NYC... I only have three full days (Friday, Sat, and Sunday)
then I will fly back home on monday morning

The sad thing- I will miss two days worth of classes :-X oh well... hopefully it won't wreck my grades (i did ask most of my professors if it is okay for me to miss friday.. but not monday :-X)

i don't reveal my age but at least i'm over 30s
and I did not know anyone who lived in Commack area
so we probably never met before anyway. But who knows ?
