Just read the book "Hands of My Father" It reminded me of how much I wanted to learn ASL as a kid. Well I'm almost 40 now and determined to learn, understand and participate in the community. I'm hoping to start classes at the Sign Language Center in the Spring. In the meantime I bought the book "Talking With Your Hands, Hearing With Your Eyes". Any thoughts? I'd love to connect with people.
