I had discussed about something from other forum, there's some interesting to know.

Core 2 Duo, codename is Penryn was introduced and received some great benefits with 45 nm (previous codename was 65 nm), able to play BD/HD-DVD movies without needed for dedicated graphic chipset, means Intel GMA would recognize to play HD movies, along with CPU. It will use low wattage (25W, 35W, depends on model), compared to 35W alone on previous codename, plus allow for laptop to produce into smaller than previous.

Apple will introduce an new ultraportable MacBook Pro in Jan.

Penryn will use quad-core on desktop replacement notebook, it means heavier (over 6 lbs.) and 17" screen size with shorter battery life (less than 2 hours).

I will get new Mac Pro sometime in 2008. Because I will get big tax refund. 7,000 dollars federal tax out of my pocket! :rl:

Oh cool, Are you wait for Penryn, an new codename for Core 2 Duo and more faster than previous codename, just wait until Apple is gonna to refresh the Mac Pro with Penryn.

I'm getting black MacBook on Dec 20, just same as my birthday.

I had returned the defective ASUS laptop because of their recovery is messed up and ASUS don't have good support, specific model was out of stock as well on online store, I decided to not order on online anymore.

It will be my 2nd Mac after get one soon.

Apple has updated the Mac Pro

Just check about updated Mac Pro with new fresh 8 cores CPU, 3 new choice of graphic card, desktop style, such as ATI Radeon 2600 HD XT, GeForce 8800 GT and GeForce Quadro.

It's great update for Mac Pro, you can play upcoming Mac games at maximum setting with medium-full AA (Anti-Aliasing), unlike iMac or MacBook Pro that cannot use heavier AA and some portion of high graphic setting due mobile based GPU.
