i'm new and hoping to find more network with other mothers-to-be. Yup, I got a baby on the way - due around first week of Jan and it has been hell, especially by the fact i got screwed by the father of the baby - men (not all of them, mind you!) Hope I'm in the right place:)
 
:welcome: what info u looking for? I am a father of 2 and love my kids t death. Don't worry abt the father of your baby. You just need to focus on yourself and your new baby and wait till u fine a man that loves your child as much as u do.
 
:welcome: to AD! I am a mother of 2...a 9 year old and an 1 year old. Ask away! Be more than happy to answer anything as long as it is not tooo personal. I am sorry that the father screwed u over. Not worth it if he did that. :rl:
 
Hello and welcome to Alldeaf! Hopefully things will get much better around the time that your baby is born--sorry to know that things might not be looking so good in regards to the 'father' of your baby. I am sorry to hear that you got the baby's father screwed up. You have to focus on yourself and the baby. I agree with my handsome smiley husband. I love my two children to death! They are very precious children. Oh of course, my handsome smiley husband loves our children to death. He cant live without them or his wife (me)...
 
Welcome to alldeaf and enjoy. I am mother of my son (8 years old). I love him so much. You will see that your baby will change your life so much.

Wow there are a lot of single parents out there. How can you guys deal with the pains that was caused. Im concerned it would cause the baby to come out early. BTW thanks for the welcomes:)
 
Your not only one :) .. My mom have been screw up too but all she do is foucs on her 4 kids which is me and my 3 sisters. We have same mom but different fathers 2 of my sisters same dad and other one of my last youngest sister different other dad and me different other dad. now my 3 sisters and I are grow no more kids for my mom :) we are older now :lol:
 
there should be a law for guys who are deadbeat dads who just decided out of blue that they want nothing to do with the mother of the kid. men are scums (no offense to you guys)

All I do know is for a fact that I shall be a stronger woman after all. You guys are brave, and that means I can too!

There are some good guys left, but don't worry abt fining them. Let them fine you. you just need to focus on yourself and supporting your child. That has to be your only worries right now. You need to finish your school and everything else. Also, make sure your family is there to help you to get you on your feet. Never be afraid to ask your parents for help.
 
Understood how you feel, I am single father of one, I love my son to death! Anyway to make long story short, I had to prove my mortgage company that I do not have child support, I went down to CSU (Child support Unit) I couldn't believe how cold these staffs are! They were downright mean, and I see how damaging it can be to guys who tried their best until the point where they would say "Fuck it it ain't worth the shit". Don't you know that the law in NYS already made it worse, if you got child support and not paying anythingm, you lose any kind of license... Yea, once the license is lost, no way to get income, meaning no child support.

I don't think the law is the answer to the problem.

Some guys don't give damn, while other guys really would do anything.

I know it isn't easy to be single mother, but there is plenty of support out there.
