Hi everyone!
My name is Brian, but I go by "Bri" and I am Hard-of-Hearing. I am a college student in a public university. I grew up in the hearing culture as a HoH child and was not exposed to Deaf Culture/Community until 2006.
My hearing loss is a result of Bacterial Meningitis which I was diagnosed with at 2 1/2 or 3 years of age. I was born hearing and had learned to speak before I became sick. The doctors said if I had not learned to speak before I became sick, I wouldn't have learned how to talk again.
Oh well, enough about me. Can't wait to get to know you all ...
