Action for Deafness, new clinic, Glen Vue Centre.
A NEW clinic and resource centre for deaf and hard-of-hearing people is set to open in East Grinstead.
Action for Deafness will run weekly sessions at the Glen Vue Centre every Wednesday from January 5.
The free service will be run by a member of AFD's experienced staff and volunteers will provide assistance.
Information, advice and support will be available for deaf and hard-of-hearing people, as well as their friends and family.
The service will also include hearing aid maintenance and the sale of listening devices such as amplified telephones, door bells and loop systems.
The new resource centre will replace the previous one, which was held once a month on a Thursday.
It will be open every Wednesday from 9.30am to 12.30pm and from 1.30 to 4pm.
