I'm going to on way to FL this Friday and stay for 1 week, also I need find to how tethering my BB to MacBook Pro? I need tethering via bluetooth only because tethering via USB isn't support on Mac OS X Leopard.

I'm appreciate for any help, including link about how to tethering my BB to MacBook Pro.

Damn, I tried it and it failed.

I guess that I will go to att store and talk to rep.

which one is failed ? no connection or what ?

very longer to connect, also wap.cingular should be old because att bought Cingular in couple years ago and this code is limited to GPRS, that cause my BB to get lower case of "edge" then it went back after disconnect the bluetooth.

You are lucky about WM6 is easier to connect for tethering.

first of all, att never bought cingular. cingular had to be changed its name to att mobility because cingular's parents(sbc and bellsouth) became att global after sbc acquired at&t. sbc felt at&t was very important global name so it changed its name to at&t therefore cingular had to changed its name to at&t mobility.

now back to subject.

wap.cingular has been the same one since then because it is a server for those mobiles and pc cards.
you said very long to connect. does that mean it is trying to dial up to connect ? did you put that file(text for 8700) to ur mac ?

I'm really not understand about how work on mac. :(

Download the script(text for 8700 - the one i gave u a link) here. Please Right-Click and Choose 'Save As'.
Copy the script into /Library/Modem Scripts.
If you've already paired your 8700 with your Mac, open Bluetooth Preferences, Select your 8700 from the list of devices and press 'Configure...'. (If you haven't, choose 'Set up Bluetooth Device' - the following dialogs will be shown after you've paired your phone with your Mac. Make sure your 8700 doesn't require a password for your mac to connect to it - the 'Trusted Connection' option for the pairing should be set to 'Yes' on your phone, not 'Ask'.)
Make sure 'Access the Internet with your phone's data connection' is checked. Also, make sure 'Use a direct, higher speed connection' is selected. Click Continue.
In the Modem Script pulldown on the following screen, Select 'BlackBerry 8700'. Use the following settings for the other fields, then click Continue:
Username, Password: leave blank
GPRS CID: *99***1#
Open the Internet Connect application. Select the Bluetooth icon at the top. Under Phone Number(*99), put your APN (for Cingular it's "wap.cingular"). Type a username and password (for Cingular you'll use "WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM" as the username and "CINGULAR1" as the password) in the appropriate fields

I tried it and it worked but website won't load. :(

Damn, it's not work again due PPP error, damn that.

I'm give up to set, BB is too hard to get worked. :rl:
