hey, i have a 1996 honda civic ex coupe. and i have problem with my socket ... like lighter or use for rechanger but, my socket isn't work at all. it's wont work to be on. but, i did looked at fuse box, it's all good. no problem. but i don't know why it wont work. have any clue for how to make it work?

pleasseeee i need ur help, i need it to be work, so i can use pager rechanger!

you would have to take the socket out and check it out for any disconnect wire.. if u don't find any disconnet.. you would have to take to any shop it wouldn't cost you alot to replacement.. it should cost you maybe up to 50 dollar

You can buy a kit from an auto store and do it yourself. I had the same problem in my ex Honda civic too and never bothered to touch it.. but there is a kit to replace the old socket and put the new one in. If ya can't install it.. like coolie said.. you can put it in the shop..

hey guys we shud call rebelgirl - MS goodwrench. :smash:

Oh i remmy rebelgirl's boyfriend did to my car... she get it from mr goodwrench -- her boyfriend!

in my understanding, i would go to auto zone and get the sockets. :)

power outlet

it is a power outlet/ciget lighter...you can buy one from pepboys, autozone, kmart, target, or wallmart. it should cost less than 10 bucks.if you plan to put it on yourself...disconect the battery...attach the black wire to negative side of the battery...attach the red wire to a THICK power wire going to the dash...not directly to the battery.. that way if you turn off the car ..you do not drain the battery by mistake.
