need help on zelda : the wind waker...

for those who've played the game and beat it, I just bought this game afew weeks ago since it was already on the player's choice list ($20).

Okay, if any of you can remember this...

you know the part when you return back to the forsaken fortress to recuse your sister, since the first time you got there, you couldn't make it because the giant bird threw you out...lol so anyway as I got back there and finally recused my sister, and then got into battle with the giant bird and then after I defeated the giant bird, I came face to face with the arch enemy named Ganondon (sp?) and as I was about to fight him but couldn't because there was something wrong with the master sword and one pirate girl came up and try to save my ass, but as Ganondon grabbed the girl and then noticed something on her necklance...would she actually be *gasp* Zelda?!?

anyway, as the two bird people (or whatever you call them) and the giant dragon with the feather wings came along and saved the pirate girl and my ass outta there and then went back to the tower of the gods...and went to the port under sea to the hidden castle of Hyrule and met the king, blah blah blah and then the girl is most definetly zelda! blah blah blah then I got to go out and find a way to fix my master sword...but first things first...I gotta go somewhere where I can find my ice and fire arrows before I could go to some ice island (unexplored island with no name yet, nor don't know where the location is yet, and the other unexplored island, as well)
two unexplored islands have one island with the giant stone head that's too heavy for me to lift, and the other island has the statue that blows things outta the way.

So, the problem is...I don't know where to find things that would get me "heavy as stone" to get past the blowing wind from the statue...and the other thing that would get me strong as steel to lift the giant stone head...

AND don't know where to get the ice and fire arrows... whew!

I hope that's enough details to help you understand of my problem...and I hope you know how to solve it.

PLEASE HELP!

I've nearly played two hours trying to find the damn fire and ice arrows! *sobs*
 
Go to the Mother & Child Isles using the Ballad of Gales.
 
And shoot the wind god in tornado at random areas with normal arrows for a song of warping. With this song, it will take you to Mother & Child Isles.

Check www.gamefaqs.com for more guides. It's usually loaded with various guides such as maps or items. I used that website often if I'm stuck.
 
FINALLY I got the fire and ice arrows...about time!

so now the only problem left is that I can't find the Mother and Child Isles...please help! I beg you!

It's somewhere on the left or upper left region. You have to use the Ballad of Gales in order to get INSIDE the island. Sailing alone will only take you to the outside of the island. My best suggestion is to go ahead and explore all the islands and get them documented. That way, you can find anything quickly. ;)

I just checked back on zelda.com to find more information about the mother and child Isles...and it says to go there to get the fire and ice arrows... so... *nervous chuckle* it appears I have ALREADY got there! so I've already got the fire and ice arrows from the mother and child Isles...heh heh...

anyway, as I got the fire and ice arrows, I've read on zelda.com that the next thing I have to do is go to the fire mountain in order to find the Power Braclets...so right now, I'm taking a break from spending too many hours naming all the unexplored islands by having to feed some seeds to the damn fish to write down on the map by each island that I've yet to explore...*sigh* and the seeds are getting awfully expenisve *roll eyes*

so far, I've explored such islands like the Ice Ring and the Shark Island, etc...

but still hasn't find the fire mountain yet, so I'll start looking for that island torromow.

Some of the islands have time limits so as soon as you launch your arrows on it, you better run! I think Fire Mountain is the hardest since you have to freeze it or something. Maybe Ice Mountain is the other way, I don't remember. All I remember is that after shooting the arrow, I had a very short time limit to run from the boat all tye way to the top.
 
Oh man why did I have to peek in here..
Zelda is one of my fave games...

Argh gotta beg my husband to get me one ! hehe..
