Hi,
I am shooting a short film to be used first in school as a final project but then later in festivals. The story is (very) loosely based on the Bernard Goetz case from the 1980s. In my film, two hearing impaired teens with bright futures are seen as gang members using gang signs by a skittish white male. One of the teens ends up being gunned down by a police officer during the misunderstanding. There are two roles available. Both characters are for men 16-24, who are of color (black or hispanic preferred), are fluent in American Sign Language, and are willing to work 2 shooting days (may be reduced to one). First time actors welcome.
No pay but credit, copy, food, transportation, and small stipend will be provided.
