Everyone,

If you have any experience or know how to fix that DANG problem!!

Previously, I reinstalled XP on my Acer Aspire lappy last July. I downloaded and installed Inspirechat (runs on Java) from Hamiltonrelay.com It works great until few weeks ago. I don't know how that happened.

It says
"Thank you for using Hamilton Relay, please wait to be connected.
Currently, you are not connected to the Internet. Please check your Internet connection to ensure that it is working. You are being disconnected from Hamilton Relay.
"

HUH!! I'm connected to Internet and It works fine on Browser (both IE and Firefox). Again.. I decide to go to i711.com - Relay & Beyond, using IE7 browser. I clicked "Begin Text Relay Call". The pop up window which should run Relay call. what I got...

"i711.com requires Macromedia Flash Plugin version 6.0 or higher. Please visit https://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer to get the latest version. "

I reinstall Flashplayer and still get the same result!! I check every setting in IE7 browser, Popup blocker all disabled (including Zonealarm's Privacy been disabled too), Zonealarm Internet security, and everything else I can think of.

It will run flashplayer plugin just fine and dandy till you have pop up window and it would say same message like I mentioned previously. I also notice the other website which use flash player works except 360 degree view show same message. Ummh something is blocking flashplayer plugin on 2nd window from running.

Two of my systems in basment ran i711 text relay call just fine, so did Ubuntu. Hamiltonrelay.com's Inspirechat worked fine too except Ubuntu. Ubuntu did run Java and tried to install Inspriechat but it can't run it. Oh well. (2nd system runs on XP works fine on Inspirechat, connected and operator dials)

So that narrowed down to my lappy. I even reset the IE7 browser, switched from Wireless to Wired connection, Disabled Zonealarm ect. I get the same result.

There are two things that my lappy have problems with, Java and Flash plugin. Something is cutting off it's connection while Browser works fine on internet.

I downloaded and installed Firefox browser on my lappy. It works fine on i711.com - Relay & Beyond and able to run Text Relay Call as it supposed to.

1. Blame it on my daughter for using Bebo every day on my lappy (1st suspicion):rofl:.
2. Lappy's XP is screwy again, need reinstallation (2nd suspicion)
3. Did I missed something on XP setting

Give me a Suggestion!
thanks

Hi catty,

if you installed the Flashplayer 9 your ubuntu linux, you can leave browser open and FILE>NEW TAB and log on i711 your browser not get crashed.. because the 1st tab to keep FP 9 running, (use alldeaf to keep running), 2nd tab anything to surf up (i711 and etc).

Bebo has nothing to do with these internet relay.... Bebo sucks for life. ;)

As for Ubuntu Gusty Gibbon 7.10 beta.....
Nah, flashplayer works perfectly and flawlessly on Ubuntu. It's been very kind to me. It runs i711 Text Relay Chat niiiiceelyy...

I'm talking about stupid crappy M$ Windoz XP w/ IE7 that had plm. I'm thinking of reformatting and reinstalling my lappy to clear out all those plm. I also had fequent error messages that have to shut down applications too so it need to be fixed by reformatting..

LOL, I was only kidding about blaming my daughter on Bebo. Bebo is teenage stuff. I agree it sux!!! I told her to cut down Bebo. She won't cuz she got several local friends on Bebo and been on it everyday. She hoovers around my lappy when I'm using it and she wanted take over as soon as I'm done. Lol. I told her use Ubuntu box in basment lol.

I believe something got chinked on M$ XP when I installed apps and stuff in. I decide to just reformat and reinstall sucker M$ OS to clear problems (it already had crappy error messages that shut down apps after I click OK to send error reports to M$ that need to be fixed by reinstalling). I would LOVE to install Linux OS in my lappy BUT my wife won't let me do it until she get her own lappy then I can mess w/ lappy (I actually own this lappy but let my wife and daughter use it for while.)

I just reformatted and reinstall XP on my lappy. Finally, i711.com w/ Text Relay Call WORKED!!!

The odd thing is that I download and installed Hamilton's Inspirechat.. I tried to "call" after typing phone number. I get the same message like I originally said. Uhhh!!! Java been updated and Inspirechat don't connect. Strange...

I will contact Hamilton if they know how to work around the problems.
