My forest fire fighting adventure...with pixs!

Well that's cool. Keep up the good work. Although I know it can be a very dangerous job. But I admire & respect your bravery & talent to do those things.

That is awesome blog you have, Kokonut :) Thanks for sharing that with us! :)

Very interesting and impressive photos as well...definitely with the last trip you took helping out will be a long-lasting memory that'll be forever etched in your heart--the close escape and all the hard dirty work you and the others took upon. Also, it takes great admiration and awe for whoever it is that is the site's supervisor, taking much respondsibility for making sure the crew is safe, etc.,....I'm aware how quickly things can turn abruptly and suddenly with no time to spare, but making important quick decisions that's vital for the well-being and safety of all those involved with fire-fighting is to be well noted also.

Thanks for sharing this with AD'ers--good to know that you and the crew were able to make it out safely.... ;)

Like Roadrunner said, very interesting! Nice blog you have going there. This is the first time I've looked at a blog and pictures from who I believe is called a Smoke Eater. Take care and thanks for helping to save our forests! Dave

Great pictures!! Impressed that you have the guts to go out there and stop the fires!! :)

I remember you showing this awesome picture,

Forrest Fire - John McColgan.jpg

but didn't know who made it.
I found it somewhere with credits in the corner. Do you know the person?
