Ok , situation a piece of paper intended for a hearing person, it had the ñame of vitamin, for fatty liver, website and toll free number for phone calls to a radio station.

I learn a deaf person , has fatty liver as well. I jotted down the vitamin name and website.

The debate part came when my dad said how come you didn't give that deaf person the radio station info? I said , she can't hear. He argued that someone hearing can interpret for her and how my glass is empty bec of how I think. I said , reality speaking, some hearing families don't have time or they don't know sign language. He started to argue with me that there is ways to do this . I said , correct. You need an interpreter and it can cost money due to the physical demands and how long the radio show is.

He continues to argue that I am wrong and so forth please help me out did I do something wrong ?

All I wanted to do was give info of the vitamin which is the important part. The talk radio varies with health issues.

I think you did right. I might not have given the radio station info even to a hearing person. That info is probably on the website anyway.

Don't omit any info just cuz the person is deaf, let the deaf handle it

True, if it was a PAID assignment. I had one piece of paper intended for the hearing person. I just jotted down the main idea vitamin name for the deaf person without thinking of radio talk shows and calling in for advice. Since , it was one piece handwritten paper on my personal time not work related .

If you were giving it to me I would just want the website. Radio is useless to me, and I never thought of having an interpreter to participate in a radio show.

Radio is completely off my radar.

Bott, this deaf lady would have giggled at me and said , " I am deaf" if she saw the radio nbr lol my dad argued with me and said, I cut him off when I said, deaf people can't hear.

don't some radio stations have a transcript service?

I don't know if they do. With technology I would think so. People can visit the website of that particular talk show and see if the script is posted.

I think its kinda ridiculous how hard he is being on you. You did your part.

Where you on a radio show giving out info about a vitamin? If yes how would a deaf person be able to read ASL over a radio and I am HOH and I have a very hard time understanding what being said on a radio so how can a deaf person understand anything. This what I think you're talking about from your post.

Maybe it's just the fact I'm not fully awake yet as I just got up, but I don't understand the post.
