Drake, less than a year old. We rescued him from the shelter. He was there for 5 months. Such a love bug!

And here's Moo, a previous neighbor had her when she was only 6 months old. The neighbor had a baby and wanted the kitten to go to a loving home. Moo has been a huge impact in my life. Shes incredibly smart and loving!

Beautiful cats!!!

I used to have two Maine Coon cats like Drake. Same color and everything. Dingbat was 18 years old. I found her in the woods, when she was a wild kitten.. she got along well with me but no one else.. and Pepperwell was 16 years old, whom I had since she was a kitten. She was smart cat to protect my home, when someone who broke into my apartment. She attacked the intruder but he fought and kicked her hard.. and he threw her out of my apartment's window. I found her outside when I arrived home from the party, I called 911 and I had to take her to the vet immediately with police officer's help. She was hurt badly. The vet said she will not except to live but we agreed that it is best to put her to sleep. Of course, I cried... The intruder was not never found, according to the police officer beacause he was wearing gloves at the time. (He stole my TV, stereo set, and a bicycle. Grrrr... Luckily, I have had insurance to cover those.)

Me, too.

I think Drake is mix breed. :dunno:

Pepperwell was a purebred Maine Coon cat but Dingbat was not a purebred. I found her in the woods.

Apparently... When we got a Christmas tree last year, Moo thought it was her cat tree....

Very cute!

And, cats are usually at least 2 before they develop a fondness for catnip. Keep trying! :)
 
I just bought a catnip ball from walmart (mainly for Moo) but it seems like Drake likes it more!
