MSD won the ESDAA Tournament by beating New York School for the Deaf, 25-9, 25-6, in the championship match at Lexington School for the Deaf.
Andrea Amati had four kills, four digs and two aces for the Orioles (34-5). Lauren Benedict had 13 assists and two digs, Brittany A. Frank had five aces and five digs, Jessica Israel had five kills andSabrina Roult had seven kills.
MSD beat American School for the Deaf, 25-4, 25-8, in the semifinals. Amati had three kills, five aces and two digs. Michelin Barron had five kills, Benedict had eight assists, five aces and nine digs, and Roult had five kills and five digs.
Earlier in the tournament, MSD beat Western PA School for the Deaf, 25-4, American School for the Deaf, 25-7, Lexington School for the Deaf, 25-7, New Jersey School for the Deaf, 25-2, New York School for the Deaf, 25-10 and Ohio School for the Deaf, 25-10.
