MSD fundraiser tonight to benefit deaf school in Haiti - The Frederick News-Post Online
The Maryland School for the Deaf is hosting a fundraiser tonight for a deaf school in Port-au-Prince that collapsed during the Haiti earthquake.
The program will be held from 5:45 to 8 p.m. in the new elementary school of The Maryland School for the Deaf, 400 S. Carroll St., Frederick .
Opening activities and dinner will start at 5:45 p.m. The main program, which includes entertainment and a presentation, will be from 6:15 to 6:45 p.m. The program's arts, crafts, games and labyrinth will be from 6:45 to 8 p.m.
The suggested donation is $10 per family. All proceeds will go to the deaf school, Institut Montfort.
