MOVIE BLOOPERS
I have seen one blooper in “Milo & Otis”, one blooper in a Christian biography film “The Hiding Place“, and a couple of them in 1997‘s “Titanic”, but I have seen many of them on the 1939 “Wizard of Oz”, which starred Judy Garland. Next time you watch these films, look for these bloopers yourself. J
“Milo & Otis”:
When Otis the pug was looking for Milo the cat, he was walking through mud in a lonely field. He had mud on all four paws walking along…then in the next scene, his paws were clean!
“The Hiding Place”:
When Corrie viewed her dead sister in the concentration camp morgue room…..in the close up frame, you can see Betsy, who was supposed to be dead laying down on the table, swallowing.
“Titanic”:
1. When Jack died, Rose (on the floating wooden door) unhooked her hand from his, and let him go under the ocean to bury him. Watch Jack’s eyes when he submerges in the water…..he squints a little. He was supposed to be dead at the time.
2. The scene where Rose was trying to find some help to free Jack from the handcuffs after him being framed by Cal, she later finds an axe in a glass case. Watch this glass case after she breaks it to get the axe, it was closed up again!
“Wizard of Oz”:
1. At the beginning where the twister was going through the field to Dorothy’s house. The twister was shown far away, then close up, far away again, and vice versa….it’s very obvious.
2. When Glenda the good witch was talking to Dorothy in the Munchkinland scene, she once accidently hits her crown with her wand.
3. When the Tinman was doing his dancing and then toots his funnel….watch Toto the dog at his feet. When Tinman tooted his funnel, Toto got startled.
4. All through the scene where Dorothy meets the Scarecrow, you may notice her hair changes from being shorter, to longer, to shorter again.
5. When Dorothy was upset that she couldn’t see the Wizard when they finally arrived at his place, she cried about her Aunt Em. The doorkeeper overheard her and cried too….but he was crying from his EYEBROWS!!
There was an “infamous rumor” about the scene on the Wizard of Oz…..the scene where Dorothy, Scarecrow and the Tinman were at a house and next to a forest. When the scenes pans out to view the beginnings of the forest, you can see a shadow on the top right of the screen. Some people thought it was a Munchkin or a worker committed suicide by hanging….but it was really a crane moving in the background!
